SICOM Launches Its Chef™ Kitchen Production Management System

New Solution Provides Quick Service Restaurants the Ability to Reduce Waste and Improve Efficiency, Productivity and Profitability

The new solution will help Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) owners quickly and seamlessly optimize production management to provide their staff with the information needed to reduce waste and increase efficiency, productivity and profitability.

  • Continuous performance of PHUs (Product Holding Units) through real-time updates, diagnostic reporting and vendor alerts
  • Instructs kitchen staff on what, when and how much to cook to minimize waste and ensure food availability, freshness and quality
  • Accurately forecast using a PMIX-based algorithm based on historical usage and live data integrated from the POS system
  • Automate PHU temperatures and hold times, dynamically view what product is in each PHU, how much, and when it expires
  • Define and deliver customized alerts and employee reminders to ensure consistent process and service levels
  • Provide up-to-date build cards and electronic training materials; access the latest recipes in real-time
  • Tap into valuable reporting, day-part summaries and historical playback to improve process efficiency and performance
